The Amsterdam Career Days is a five-day career event designed for students looking to explore their future career options. The event is particularly aimed at students with backgrounds in Accounting, Business Administration, Econometrics, Economics, and Finance.
The program has been thoughtfully curated to offer a mix of formal and informal activities. You can attend company presentations, participate in case studies, join speed dates, and even have one-on-one meetings with company representatives. In addition to these formal activities, there are opportunities to engage with companies in a more relaxed setting through dinners, lunches, high wine/beer tasting sessions, or workshops. Finally, you can also connect with recruiters during our company fair or general lunch sessions.

By students, for students
The Amsterdam Career Days is an event proudly organized by students, for students. Every year, a dedicated team from two of Amsterdam’s largest universities, namely Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Aureus) and University of Amsterdam (Sefa), work together to bring this event to life. While we represent these two universities, our doors are open to all students, regardless of your university, as long as you are available and interested in attending.
We understand the challenges students face when exploring career options because we’re in the same boat. That is why we have crafted a career event filled with opportunities to connect with top companies, expand your network, and gain valuable insights, all in a welcoming, student-driven environment.
When & Where?
The Amsterdam Career Days offers two types of activities: on-site events and external sessions. On-site activities will take place at Hotel CASA Amsterdam, located at Eerste Ringdijkstraat 4, 1097 BC Amsterdam. For external locations, students are expected to gather in the Hotel CASA lobby, so keep an eye on your inbox for further updates and information.
Each day the program runs from 9:00 until 17:00, with a full schedule of engaging activities. To top it off, the last activity of the day is an informal session hosted by the main partner company of the day featuring an open bar, which is included in your ticket price, making it a great way to relax and network!
Speakers & Company Fair
Room for Discussion (UvA) will host a daily keynote session featuring a prominent guest speaker, where each guest will take the stage to share valuable insights on trending topics and industry developments. These engaging sessions are open to all attendees, offering you a unique opportunity to learn directly from top industry leaders and experts.
Following the keynote, join us for the Company Fair from 12:00 to 15:00 in the Erasmus Room at Hotel CASA. This is your chance to connect face-to-face with leading companies, ask questions, and explore potential career paths in a relaxed, informal setting. Open to all students, the fair is a perfect way to expand your professional network and discover new opportunities.
